Quick and Easy Pasta Sauce

Here’s another recipe using the Basil and Chili from your herb garden.

It’s often time consuming to make a different sauce for your pasta but this recipe should take you less than 5 minutes to prepare.

A quick and easy italian pasta sauce recipe with the herbs from your gardenThe ingredients for this recipe are:

  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Garlic
  • Olive oil
  • Chilli
  • Salt and Pepper

Ok, and now set your clocks and time yourself, because here we go… ;-)

1 – Chop the cherry tomatoes in half, and add to a bowl
2 – Chop the basil and add to the bowl
3 – Chop the garlic and add to the bowl
4 – Slice the chilli and add to the bowl
5 – Add some olive oil
6 – Add some salt & pepper
7 – Mix it all up

Stop the clock, you’re done!

Now, when your pasta is ready to be seasoned, just pour your sauce over the pasta, give it a little mix, and serve.

You can add shavings of parmesan cheese to top off you “perfect for summer” pasta dish.

As a side note, you can also add anchovies or black olives to the sauce…
