Mint – But fleas hate it – grow some at your door entrance, put some leaves under the dog’s mattress. If infested put mint all around the skirting leave for a few days (will dry and smell good anyway) then vacuum up – fleas will move next door!

Hmmm… Never thought of the roots. They do go crazy. Well, I guess I’ll have to see how it goes. I’ll keep it updated here.

I’ve tried planting mint in pots, and it gets horribly rootbound–all roots, no dirt. The mint was a gift from a friend, and I’ve passed it on to many people. Maybe I just need a BIG pot to plant it in?
