This is one of the VERY few reason why I wish I lived in America. Being able to have a mail from the ACTUAL North Pole and signed by Santa sent to your children! I think that’s a BRILLIANT idea.Imagine your son or daughter sends a letter to Father Christmas and he sends one back… In fact, forget that! I want a letter from Santa Claus! Here’s more info from the site: - Personalized letter(s) to any child - Postmarked from North Pole, Alaska - Your child’s home town and a friends name - Signed by Santa himself - Up to 4 unique letters to choose from - Addressed...

Photographs make a GREAT gift. And if you have a family with children, then a family portrait makes a great gift to give your parents. Which is why I want to tell you about my wedding photographer’s wife’s site. Wedding PhotographyShe’s also a wedding photographer, as you can see if you click the link. She takes amazing photographs. Some people say that there’s an added bonus of having a female wedding photographer. I read an article the other day about how people didn’t like the idea of female wedding photographers because it’s a male dominated industry,...

AudioBooks from Audible.com First off, my absolute FAVOURITE idea is AudioBooks.I have personally been a member of Audible.com for about 6 years now, and have listened to about 40 audio books. Even as a member I can receive audiobooks as gifts, but I’ve definitely given more audiobooks as gifts than I’ve received (I guess because I just buy my own because it’s so easy as a member). I’ve written up a review about audiobooks here: “Audiobooks Let You Read While Sitting In Traffic” So, if you give just one awesome gift to anybody who enjoys reading, I...

Well, for me at least. And my girlfriend (now my wife). So what WAS the most romantic anniversary present ever?A charm bracelet. With only 1 charm! Let me explain… On our first anniversary of going out (being boyfriend and girlfriend, dating, whatever, you get what I mean) I gave her the charm bracelet with 1 charm, and promised to give her a new charm on every anniversary, until she couldn’t fit any more charms on… So go on, be romantic. Give her an anniversary gift that will make her feel special. Let me know what you think below, or if you’ve done anything...

Baby Shower Gift Ideas

A friend of mine and his wife are relatively new parents, and I convinced him to share his experiences in a blog. He’s done that over at Baby R Us (you’ll have to go ask him about the name), but he’s got a particularly interesting series going on related to Baby Showers. Thanks to him, and almost all of my colleagues, my wife has been to quite a few Baby Showers (and even a couple of Christenings) this year. And it’s quite hard to come up with decent ideas for gifts to give to expecting mothers. So he’s written about the gifts his wife received at their baby...
